For me it took 3 boots to realize that I was trying to boot from the Validity Sensor This method is working on VMWare Workstation Not having any luck with this on Powering on from Firmware doesn't restore the USB connection. If I try and click the USB drive quickly to connect it while the EFI is booting, it just tells me the Connection was unsuccessful because the host was using it.
